Graphic design
Graphic design is the everyday work of making a business look like itself: the brochure, the report, the exhibition panel, the social template, the thing that has to go out on Thursday. That work is done to a consistent standard, on brand, on time, and without needing a fresh brief every time.
If you have brand guidelines, the work follows them. If you do not, a small set of rules is established so the work stays consistent. Consistency across ordinary pieces is what makes a brand look established, far more than any single showpiece.
What Vanilla Rain can do for you
Each one handled in the same studio, to the same standard.

Print design
Brochures, flyers, posters and printed collateral designed and prepared for the press, with colour, folds and finishes checked so the print run matches the proof.

Website design and development
Websites designed and built in one place, so the approved design is delivered in full, launched properly and easy for your own staff to manage.

Brand identity design
A complete identity system: logo, typefaces, colour, photography style and layout rules, with guidelines that keep every future piece unmistakably yours.

Motion design and animation
Animated logos, explainer sequences, kinetic type and social video, designed to your brand and cut to the length and format each platform needs.

Infographic design
Processes, comparisons and data turned into clear infographics, researched and checked against source, for reports, presentations, websites and social media.

Social media graphic design
Social posts, adverts and templates designed for the phone, sized for every platform format and built so your own team can keep producing on-brand content.
What graphic design involves
Designed for where it will be seen
A layout that works on an A4 page rarely works on a phone screen, a pull-up banner or an exhibition stand read from across a hall. Each format is designed for its size, its viewing distance and the way people take it in, rather than one artwork stretched to fit everything.
A system, not one-off pieces
Recurring material is built from shared layouts, type styles and colour rules, so each new piece starts from something already approved. That keeps the tenth brochure as consistent as the first, and it makes routine jobs faster and cheaper to turn around.
Words and images handled too
Copy is edited for length and clarity as part of the layout, and photography, illustration, charts and diagrams are sourced, retouched or drawn to suit. Design can start before the text is final and the pictures are perfect.
Print that arrives right
Print files are prepared to each printer’s specification, with colour, bleed, stock and finishes checked before anything is sent and proofs checked when they come back. Problems are caught on screen, not discovered on a pallet of finished work.
Briefed, proofed, signed off
Each job starts from a short brief: what it is for, who will read it, where it will run and when it is needed. Proofs are marked up and returned in rounds, so every change is tracked and the file that goes out is the one that was approved.
Files you can actually use again
Every job is handed over with editable source files, correctly packaged, plus export versions for the places they will be used. Nothing is locked in. If you take the work in house or to another studio, it will open and it will make sense.
